Who is eligible for TET exam 2023 in Tamilnadu?
As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, eligibility criteria for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) in Tamil Nadu may change over time. Therefore, it's important to check the latest updates on the official website of the Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) or the relevant authority in Tamil Nadu for the most current information regarding TET eligibility in 2023.
In general, the eligibility criteria for the Tamil Nadu TET may include educational qualifications and age requirements. Here's a common eligibility guideline based on the 2022 information:
Tamil Nadu TET Eligibility (as of 2022):
For Paper-I (Classes I-V - Primary Level TET):
- Candidates should have completed their Senior Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks.
- Additionally, candidates should have completed a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
For Paper-II (Classes VI-VIII - Upper Primary Level TET):
- Candidates should possess a Graduation degree in a relevant field.
- In addition, candidates should have completed a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program.
Please note that these were the eligibility criteria as of my last update in January 2022. The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) or the respective authorities in Tamil Nadu may have updated these criteria for the 2023 TET examination. Therefore, I strongly recommend visiting the official website of TRB or contacting them directly to confirm the latest eligibility requirements for the TET exam in Tamil Nadu in 2023.
